The Greenville Derby Dames braved the cold and rain today to volunteer at the Generous Garden Project. There is a lot of work to do in preparation for spring planting even when it is a bit soggy! Here are a few pictures of the projects we worked on…

The Greenville Derby Dames strapped on their skates for a good cause last Tuesday night. They joined The Generous Garden Project for their first “Skate for Hunger” fundraiser at Skateland USA, 7514 White Horse Rd. They had a great time at free skate and even demonstrated some roller derby drills for those in attendance. Keep an eye on the Dames’ and The Generous Garden Project’s facebook pages for the next “Skate for Hunger” fundraiser. It’s a great cause and a fun evening for the family. Admission is $4 and a portion of the proceeds benefits The Generous Garden Project. Some of the Dames posed for a photo with one of The Generous Garden’s fans and their marketing director, Laura. |
